If damage is identified:
- It must be reported within 48 hours
- Photos of the damage and packaging must be supplied
- Claims reported outside this timeframe may not be accepted
Damage reported after installation or use will not be considered transit-related.
Maintenance & Ongoing Safety
Following installation, it is the owner’s responsibility to ensure the canopy and all associated components are regularly inspected, maintained, and adjusted to ensure continued safe operation.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Periodically checking and tightening all mounting bolts, fasteners, and brackets
- Inspecting seals, hinges, and structural components for wear or damage
- Ensuring the canopy remains securely fitted to the vehicle at all times
- Addressing any movement, vibration, or unusual noise immediately
Due to normal vehicle use, including off-road driving, load stress, and environmental exposure, components may loosen, shift, or degrade over time. Regular maintenance is essential to maintain product integrity and safety.
We recommend that all canopies are:
- Inspected after the first 500 km of use
- Checked at regular intervals thereafter (e.g. every 1,000–2,000 km or monthly, whichever occurs first)
- Assessed prior to and after any off-road use or heavy load carrying
Failure to properly maintain the canopy may result in reduced performance, damage, or serious safety risks, including detachment from the vehicle.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss, damage, or injury resulting from:
- Failure to carry out regular maintenance and inspections
- Improper use, overloading, or modification of the product
- Continued use of the product where faults, looseness, or damage are present
By purchasing and using this product, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for ongoing maintenance and safe use after installation.

Third-Party Modifications
Any modifications, additions, or alterations made by third parties (including electrical work, locking upgrades, accessories, or structural changes) void any responsibility on our part for related issues.
Locking Systems & Security
All canopies and accessories supplied by our manufacturer are fitted as standard with universal compression locks. These locks are intended to provide basic security and convenience; however, they are not vehicle-specific and may operate across multiple units.
Customers seeking increased security may choose to arrange aftermarket upgrades independently, such as:
- Integration with the vehicle’s central locking system; and/or
- Custom key locks cut specifically to suit their vehicle
Please note:
- We do not supply, install, or arrange any upgraded or aftermarket locking systems
- Any upgrades or modifications must be organised by the customer through third-party providers
- All third-party modifications are undertaken entirely at the customer’s discretion and risk
By purchasing and/or installing our products, you acknowledge and accept that:
- Universal compression locks are the standard locking system supplied
- Any security upgrades are not provided by us and must be sourced independently
- We accept no responsibility or liability for loss, theft, damage, or security performance, whether using standard locks or third-party locking upgrades
Brake Light Wiring
While our canopies are supplied with a pre-installed brake light, we do not currently offer wiring or electrical connection services for this component. We do not have qualified auto electricians on staff, and for safety and compliance reasons, all electrical wiring must be carried out by a licensed third-party auto electrician.
Any electrical work arranged independently by the customer is undertaken at their own discretion and risk. We accept no responsibility for issues arising from third-party electrical installations or modifications.
Water Resistance, Sealing & Customer Maintenance
Our tub canopies are designed to be weather-resistant; however, due to vehicle variations and installation tolerances, 100% waterproofing cannot be guaranteed.
Customers are advised that minor water or dust ingress may occur, particularly during heavy rain, pressure washing, or off-road use.
To help improve sealing, we recommend customers use the tools and materials provided to reinforce or maintain any caulking at home as required. This is considered normal post-install maintenance.
Where a higher level of sealing is required, customers may choose to engage a professional caulking or sealing service after installation at their own cost.
We are not responsible for water or dust ingress resulting from:
- Vehicle or tub design variations
- Normal installation tolerances
- Environmental exposure or usage conditions
- Customer-applied or third-party caulking or sealing work
Exclusions
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Loss or theft of personal items
- Consequential or indirect losses
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, overloading, or environmental conditions
- Normal wear and tear
